Lovely LARGE turkey wings, roasted to perfection and crispness... an economical, tasty and nutritious meal!
Ingredients:
3 large fresh turkey wings
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp lemon pepper (no-salt variety)
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
1. Brush the wings with the olive oil, and stand the wings upright in the baking pan, leaning against each other for support.
2. ***By doing this, they will baste themselves evenly during cooking, resulting in deep golden, crisp wings.
3. Add the salt and pepper to your taste, and the lemon pepper, then basil.
4. Bake at 365*F for 45 minutes, or until deep golden brown.
5. Served with baked potatoes drizzled with the pan drippings, and a side Chef's salad, this makes a hearty and delicious meal.
