These muffins almost melt in your mouth, are heart-healthy, and provide an excellent, tasty source of fiber in your diet.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups bran
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 baking powder
2 tbsp melted shortening
1/4 cup molasses or brown sugar
1 cup sour milk
1/2 cup seeded raisins
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together until relatively smooth-
2. for variety, add walnuts or almonds..even cranberries and lemon zest are also tasty add-ins!
3. Bake until golden brown 325* F
