This is another great egg dish that we make for breakfast or dinner. It's great comfort food. Don't be scared off by the Tamari! It's actually quite good, just don't over do it :-)
Ingredients:
4- 5 hard boiled eggs - peeled
4 pieces of toast
1 pkg dried beef - diced
tamari (may try soy sauce as a substitute)
white sauce (alter as needed)
2 tbsp flour (or more if needed)
2 tbsp butter
1 c milk
Directions:
1. Separate egg yokes and whites.
2. Chop egg whites into medium sized chunks.
3. Crumble egg yokes into a bowl.
4. Make white sauce by melting butter in pan and slowly adding mixture of flour and milk (beat in a separate container with a fork to ensure that there are no lumps). Add more milk, flour or butter as needed to make a nice white sauce.
5. Add in egg whites, and dried beef.
6. Cook for about one minute to warm all ingredients together.
7. Pour over toast.
8. Top with egg yoke crumbles
9. Sprinkle a little tamari on top and enjoy!
