Ingredients:
1 box(es) au gratin potatoes
1/2 cup(s) milk
2 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter
6 whole(s) eggs
1 can(s) creamed corn
1/2 pound(s) cheese
2 tablespoon(s) all-purpose flour
2 ear(s) scallions chopped
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground cayenne pepper
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Prepare potatoes in 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish; follow package directions for milk and butter. Bake for only 15 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, in bowl, combine eggs, corn, cheese, flour, scallions, salt, nutmeg and cayenne. Pour over potatoes.
3. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Bake until set, 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut into 6 squares.
