This is called a dumpling but is not airy like some dumplings are. I use these in oysters stew, chicken and dumplings, potato soup.
Ingredients:
3 eggs (i use organic)
kosher salt and cracked fresh pepper
enough all purpose flour to make a thick, sticky dough.
Directions:
1. Whisk eggs
2. Salt and pepper to taste
3. Mix in flour until good consistency.
4. Depends on what you are cooking as to when dumplings are added.
5. Chicken and dumplings - before thickening
6. Oyster - before adding oysters
7. Potato-last thing you add.
8. Pictures are before being added to any of the above.
