I got this recipe from my mom, its great as an appetizer or as a dish to bring to a fondue party. Can be prepared ahead of time and placed over heat when needed. Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese |
8 ounces canned crabmeat |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 teaspoon powdered sugar |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons white wine |
1 teaspoon onion, minced |
1 teaspoon prepared mustard |
1 dash salt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a chafing dish or fondue pot. 2. Heat everything over low heat, stirring constantly until well blended. 3. Serve in the chafing dish or fondue pot with cubes of bread. |
