In addition to the edible line chocolate body paint. Takes a little prep and a heating pad but worth it. For the chocoholic in you and on you and .... Let your creative self go wild. If you make a mistake, just lick it off and try again.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 pinch kosher salt
3 tbl water
2 tbl butter
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon (or more) your favorite alcohol, or to taste
heating pad
fine soft brush for painting
you can also add flavorings like raspberry, etc. experiment.
Directions:
1. Put sugar, salt and water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
2. Don't stir but wait for the mixture to come to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and watch closely until all of the sugar granules have dissolved. Don;t touch it or sugar crystals will form and crack the sugar ! and don;t walk away from it.
3. Remove from heat
4. Add butter and stir with a wire whisk until well incorporated.
5. Add cocoa powder, vanilla and your choice of alcohol. Whisk until well incorporated.
6. Pour into a small crock, mug or other deep container.
7. Use the paint as soon as it is cooled enough to be comfortable. The warmer the sauce the easier it is to paint with but you don't want to burn your canvas.
8. To keep pliable place on a heating pad on low next to you.
9. If the sauce becomes hard because you are pre-occupied, warm it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Stir and test the temperature again before using.
10. Stores for a few days in the frig.
