This newspaper recipe intriqued me. I would recommend to double the recipe- its a sweet hot guacamole and I think outstanding! This is great on salsa chips, crudites or topped over grilled meats or on seafood
Ingredients:
1/2 red onion
1/4 cup fresh cilantro or parsley
1 to 2 jalepeno peppers, seeded ( i used much less! )
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tsp sugar ( or splenda )
1/4 tsp chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 large avocado
Directions:
1. In a food processor place all except avocado
2. Pulse to chop ingerdients
3. lastly add avocado and pulse to chop and mix in avocado
4. Use as a dip, spread or topping
