Ingredients:
1 cup(s) all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) sugar
1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
2 whole(s) eggs separated
1 cup(s) milk
2 tablespoon(s) butter melted and slightly cooled
Directions:
1. in large bowl whisk together dry ingredients. In a small bowl whisk egg yolks then whisk in milk and butter. Add yolk mixture to flour mixture and stir till blended. Will be lumpy.
2. In a clean bowl beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in thirds into batter until no white streaks.
3. Note: eggs separate easier when cold but whites whip up better when room temp.
