Easy Tostones Fried Plantains With Garlic

Pour your self a cold glass of beer and put your feet up a small pice of haven !
Ingredients:
3 plantains
2 teaspoons salt
water
canola oil for frying
1 sm jar chrushed garlic
1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
1. Peal the plantains
2. Cut crosswise in slices about 1/2 inch wide
3. Slant the knife while cutting so slices will have an oval shape.
4. Place in salted water for 1 hour
5. Drain
6. Fry until plantain is tender 3min on each side
7. but not crusty
8. Remove from oil flatten by pressing eavenly ,
9. dip in salted waterand fry again until crusty.
10. drain on absorbent paper
11. mix 2 tsp garlic with salt and spread small ammounts over hot tostones
12. Now crunch Awayyyyyyyy !!!!
