Easy Tomato Pudding

I guess tomatoes are on my mind~ easy, quick, good recipe! It;s really a very tasty side for meat, fish or poultry
Ingredients:
1 quart of stewed tomatoes( home made or canned )
2 large biscuits or 2 thick slices of bread, day old
sugar to taste
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbs butter or margarine
Directions:
1. Season home made stewed or can stewed tomatoes to your liking. ( I like basil, garlic etc )
2. Pour into mixing bowl.
3. Crumble the biscuits or bread into tomatoes.
4. Add sugar, salt and pepper to taste if needed.
5. Pour mixture into an 8 x 8 inch pan.
6. Dot top with butter or margarine.
7. Bake 350F about 50 minutes or until tomatoes bubble around edges.
8. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
