Easy Tomato Basil Drop Biscuits

These were an experiment that came about while i was making a batch of tomato basil soup. I wanted some biscuits to have with the soup and the thought hit me - why not put some of the flavours from my soup into the biscuits? Read more ? Well, it worked wonderfully and thought i'd now share the recipe. :)
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup milk
2 medium tomatoes, seeded and diced
big handful of fresh basil, bruised and roughly chopped
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet.
2. Bake at 425 F for about 15 minutes or until lightly brown. :-)
