Easy Stuffed Mushrooms

These are delicious and so easy to make! For those who don't like mushrooms, the other flavors are so strong, you really do not even taste the mushroom! These are always the first to go at a family gathering!
Ingredients:
25 mushrooms
6 slices of bacon
8 mushroom stems, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
3 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Wash mushrooms
2. Pull out stems and set aside 8
3. Fry bacon
4. Remove bacon from pan but leave grease in pan
5. Cool and crumble bacon
6. Cook onion and mushroom stems in bacon drippings
7. Drain grease after mushrooms and onion is carmelized
8. Mix onion and mushroom mixture with bacon and cream cheese
9. If it is too chunky for your taste, you can blend mixture, but this isn't necessary
10. Place about 1 tsp of mixture in each mushroom
11. Bake at 350 for about 14 minutes
12. Place a sprinkling of cheese on the top of each mushroom and broil for an additional 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
