This lovely recipe from uk.tv is just likely to make you a fan of the lowly sprout.
Ingredients:

12 oz brussels sprouts
1/2 c. unsalted cashew nuts
1 tbsp olive oil
1 piece ginger, peeled and finely chopped
1 tbsp honey
2 tsp lemon juice
finely grated lemon zest, to taste
Directions:
1. Trim the sprouts and cut them into quarters. Bring a pan of water to the boil and blanch the sprouts for 2 minutes, then drain.
2. Heat a frying pan and dry fry the cashews over a medium heat until lightly toasted. Set aside.
3. Pour the oil into the pan, then stir-fry the ginger, honey and lemon juice for 1 minute. Add the sprouts and stir-fry until tender.
4. Toss in the cashews and a little lemon zest to taste and serve at once.
