Easy Quick Old-Fashioned Oats Oatmeal

I don't like the instant packaged oatmeal, so found this quick way to have a nutritious breakfast on my way out the door. You could vary the additions by what you have on hand. I have used fresh fruit, applesauce, peanut butter, and even coconut.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup water or 1 cup milk
1 dash salt
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon raisins or 1 tablespoon craisins
1 tablespoon chopped nuts
Directions:
1. Place oats and water ( or milk) in a microwave-safe bowl. Add dash salt and stir. Place in microwave on High for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Stir. Add optional ingredients of your choosing and enjoy.
