This isn't your traditional jambalaya for many reasons, but once you try it, it just might be your go-to. Very simple and very versitile.
Ingredients:
1 (10oz.) can campbell's beef broth
1 (10oz.) can campbell's french onion soup
1 (10oz.) can campbell's golden mushroom soup
1 (8oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4oz.) can of mushrooms
3 cups uncle ben's converted rice (uncooked)
2 heaping tbsp. of minced garlic
1 cup chopped bell pepper
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup cooked, chopped chicken
1 cup chopped, andouille sausage
1 cup chopped pork or ham
1 stick of butter-cut up
1 tsp. allspice
hot sauce to taste
worcestershire sauce to taste
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a large roasting pan. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and mix well. Cover again tightly with foil and continue baking an additional 45 minutes.
2. **This makes quite a bit especially if you plan to use it as a side dish.
