Easy Oatmeal Cookies

Tasty but a bit dry. Make sure you have milk handy!! To make it healthier, replace half of the oil with applesauce This will be an oaty cookie and it will look underdone when its ready, if the top is crunchy, the cookie is perfect
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour or 1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup quick oats
1 egg
1/4 cup canola oil or 1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 cup butterscotch chips (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Lightly grease cookie sheet.
3. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and ginger in a mixing bowl.
4. Add in brown sugar, quick oats, and any optional ingredients desired.
5. Stir together in small mixing bowl the egg, oil and milk.
6. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients.
7. Stir well, adding 1-2 teaspoons of milk if needed.
8. Drop by rounded teaspoonful on baking sheet.
9. Bake for 8-11 minutes until just brown around edges.
10. Cool on rack.
