This is a quick and basic recipe for Granola bars. The recipe is somthing that I came up with after making substitutions to differant variations to suit my tastes.The sky is the limit from here... add fruits, nuts, and or berrys as you like.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup country crock
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 1/2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp dry milk
Directions:
1. Pre-Heat oven to 300°F.
2. Mix quick oats, brown sugar, dry milk, and cinnamon together in a suitable mixing bowl.
3. In a micorwave safe bowl add peanut-butter,maple syrup, butter, and honey.
4. Heat on medium power level until soft.
5. Add softened peanut-butter, maple syrup, butter, and honey to quick oats.
6. Blend with large spoon, and then transfer to 8x8in. pan.
7. Bake at 300 degree F. for 20min.
