Super easy and fun to make. Don't get discouraged, it doesn't golden brown like real bread, but it tastes great! It won't really RISE, but the baking powder helps the best it can. Don't use all brown rice flour or the bread will be too mushy. Use a mixture of brown rice and white rice flour. You can add cheese or cinnamon and/or spices to make a cinnamon recipe. *Make in small batches because after a few days it gets crumbly. You can freeze the loaves after you bake them, then let them thaw (NOT IN THE FRIDGE!) and then you can heat it up and it's like you just baked it!* You may want to double or triple the recipe if you want to slice it up and use it for sandwiches or toast.
Ingredients:
1 cup rice flour
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/8 cup vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Mix the dry ingredients, (**BEAT THE EGG BEFORE YOU ADD TO DRY**).
2. Add wet ingredients to dry (here is where you could add cheese, cinnamon, or other extra ingredients). Batter should be the consistency of a muffin mix.
3. Grease your pan VERY LIGHTLY.
4. Put in small loaf pan (double or triple recipe to make a big loaf).
5. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350°F.
