Ingredients:
1/2 cup(s) butter
1 cup(s) flour
1 cup(s) sugar
1/8 teaspoon(s) salt
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
3/4 cup(s) milk
2 1/2 cup(s) fruit sweetened to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425. Melt butter in 8 X 8 X 2 pan. Sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add milk slowly to make paste. Pour over butter; add fruit and do not stir. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
