Easy Delicious Curry Pumpkin Soup

Saw this in the paper, made it and wow!!! Flavors are devine. Simple ingrdients and easy and so gourmet tasting!
Ingredients:
3 cups canned cooked pumpkin or squash- plain
or your own precooked and pureed pumpkin or butternut or acorn sqaush
3 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth for vegetarians
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tsp curry powder or more to taste
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp each: nutmeg, salt and ginger
1 cup cream
garnish: toasted pumpkin seeds or a dollop of sour cream
Directions:
1. Place all but cream into a pot and just heat up.
2. Then stir in cream and correct seasonings if desired ( that is add a bit more curry powder )
3. Place in bowls and garnish if desired.
4. ENJOY !!!
