This simple crab cake recipe came from an old community cookbook. It was the recipe my father used.
Ingredients:
1 lb crabmeat, flaked
1 egg, beaten
1 cup cracker crumb
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
4 tablespoons butter
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
oil, as needed for frying
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients and shape into cakes of desired size.
2. Fry in skillet at medium low heat in small amount of oil until golden brown, turning once.
