Easy Chicken, Sausage and Pasta Kick

This is from a place back home that I cannot remember the name of...ahh what 10 years can do to your memory. This was my favorite dish so we worked for years on a copy cat. Here is what we came up with...
Ingredients:
2 bs chicken breasts
1 smoked sausage, rope
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic salt
8 ounces penne, pasta-cooked
16 ounces alfredo sauce
3 tablespoons hot sauce
1 tomato, chopped
Directions:
1. Chop chicken breast into bite size pieces- this is easier if slightly frozen.
2. Salt and pepper chicken pieces.
3. Heat large skillet-medium heat.
4. Add oil, onion and chicken pieces and saute until chicken is white.
5. Meanwhile, slice rope sausage into 1/4 inches slices.
6. Turn heat up to high heat and toss in sausage slices.
7. Consistently tossle food until slightly blacked on the edges.
8. Turn heat down low.
9. Add Alfredo, hot sauce and garlic salt.
10. Stir until well blended, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
11. Add in cooked Penne Pasta and stir all together.
12. De-seed and finely chop Tomato and sprinkle on top and serve.
