This makes a great side for enchilada’s or you can grill some chicken and throw it on top once the rice is done cooking. I accidentally discovered this recipe when I tried another recipe with chicken and decided to use throw some rice in the slow cooker. Read more . The rice turned out much better than the chicken so I stuck to the rice and the soup mix and I cook the chicken separately now and I use the rice as a side for all kinds of things or a meal of it’s own!
Ingredients:
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (11 oz) can condensed cream of cheddar cheese soup
1 1/2 cups white rice (not the instant kind)
Directions:
1. Turn the slow cooker onto high while mixing the three cans of soup in a bowl.
2. One the soup is combined, add the soup and the rice to the slow cooker.
3. Cook on high for two hours or low for five hours until most of the liquid is absorbed and the rice is soft.
