Easy Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

This came from the Kraft Food & Family magazine. It quickly became our favorite scalloped potato dish...it's so creamy, flavorful and yummy. You can easily lighten it up, if you wish.
Ingredients:
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup chicken broth
3 lbs red potatoes, thinly sliced
1 pkg (6 oz) diced, smoked ham
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 cup frozen peas (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Spray 13x9 inch baking dish (stoneware works great!)
3. Mix cream cheese, sour cream and chicken broth until well blended.
4. Add potatoes, ham and peas and 1 3/4 cups cheese.
5. Stir gently to coat all ingredients.
6. Spoon into prepared baking dish
7. Sprinkle with remaining cheese
8. Bake 1 hour, until heated through and potatoes are tender
