Easy Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup pecans (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 f.
  2. In a medium bowl sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl mix together sugar, eggs,and vanilla.
  4. Crush banana's with a fork, add to egg mixture.
  5. Add applesauce if desired.
  6. Slowly add flour mixture, to banana mixture and gently fold together until just moistened.
  7. Add pecans, mix gently and pour in to well greased bread pan (glass works best).
  8. Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
