Hi; I don't remember where I found this quick and easy dumpling, but I have been using it in soups for years. The dumplings are filling and so delicious. They would be great in stews as well. Hope you give them a try.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
1 teaspoon fresh parsley
Directions:
1. Mix the dry ingredients
2. Lightly beat eggs, stir into the dry ingredients,
3. Drop by teaspoons into boiling soup or stew.
4. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
5. Alternative; You can use 2/3 cup of Bisquick , eggs and parsley.
