Drunken Cranberry-Orange Relish

Ingredients:
1 whole(s) valencia orange cut into eights
1 bag(s) fresh cranberries washed and picked over
1 cup(s) sugar
3 ounce(s) cointreau, triple sec, or grand marnier
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1 dash(es) pasilla chile ground
1 dash(es) ancho chile ground
1 pinch(s) chipotle chile ground
1 pinch(s) cayenne pepper ground
1 cup(s) walnuts
1/4 cup(s) red wine
1 1/2 ounce(s) vodka
1/4 teaspoon(s) black pepper coarsely ground
1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
1 pinch(s) cinnamon ground
1 pinch(s) ginger ground
Directions:
1. Cut a whole Valencia orange into eighths and throw into food processor... pour bag of
2. fresh cranberries into food processor.
3. Add sugar, salt, walnuts, cinnamon, ginger, cayenne, black, pasilla, chipotle, and ancho chile peppers, vodka, red wine, lemon juice, and Cointreau.
4. Pulse until it reaches the consistency you want.
5. KEY TO THE RECIPE HERE-> put into glass jar or bowl and refrigerate overnight to allow it to macerate and combine the flavors.
6. Stir well and empty into serving dish, adjust seasonings to taste. Enjoy!
