These are recipes that my children recieved from a babysitting course they did.
Ingredients:
1/2 lemon juice or 1/2 lime juice
1 cup orange juice
4 cups watermelon, seeds removed
Directions:
1. WATERMELON DRINK.
2. Use blender and mix well. Strain if needed.
3. BANANA MILK.
4. 1 cup ripe bananas, cut into small pieces.
5. 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla.
6. 1 cup Skim milk.
7. Use blender, mix bananas and milk well. Add vanilla. Refrigerate and serve cold. Try other fruits as well.
8. ORANGE MILK.
9. 1 quart skim milk (5 cups).
10. 1-5 1/4 oz. (180 g) concentrated frozen orange juice.
11. Use blender and mix well.
12. PEANUT MILK.
13. 4 cups skim milk.
14. 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter.
15. 1 tablespoons Honey (if desired).
16. Blend Peanut butter with a little of the milk and mix well. Gradually add rest of milk, mixing continuously. Add the honey and blend well.
17. GRAPE JUICE AND LIME.
18. 1/2 cup unsweetened grape juice.
19. 1 scoop lime sherbet.
20. Use blender and mix well.
21. FROZEN IDEAS.
22. PUDDING POPS.
23. 1-4 oz. pkg. instant pudding, any flavour.
24. 2 cups milk or unflavoured yogurt.
25. Prepare pudding according to pkg. Mix with the yogurt. Spoon into an ice cube tray, paper cups or popsicle mold. Freeze until half firm and then stick a wooden stick in each one. Freeze until firm.
26. POLYNESIAN POPSICLE.
27. 1 cup Skim milk.
28. 1 envelope unflavoured gelatin.
29. 1/2 cup sugar.
30. 1 1/4 cups pineapple juice.
31. 1 egg white.
32. Pour milk into blender and add gelatin. Let soften for one minute before adding the rest of the ingredients. Pour into molds, insert sticks and freeze.
33. FRUIT JUICE POPSICLES.
34. Pour unsweetened fruit juice into ice cube trays. Freeze until thick, then place stick in each cube. Freeze until firm.
35. YOGURT POPS.
36. 2 cups plain yogurt.
37. 6 oz. Can frozen juice concentrate, thawed.
38. 1/4 cup honey.
39. 2 teaspoons Vanilla.
40. Combine ingredients. Ladle into molds and freeze until thick. Place sticks in molds and freeze until firm.
