  1. In a dutch oven brown the meat over medium-high heat. Transfer the meat into a strainer to drain.
  2. Add onions to the pot and cook until softened. Toss in the garlic and cook until fragrant, 15 to 30 seconds.
  3. Return the meat to the pot and stir in the broth, tomato sauce, and diced tomato. Add in the Italian seasoning, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Taste for seasoning and add more salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Once it comes to a boil add in the macaroni, stir to combine, and cover, lowering the temperature to a simmer. Continue simmer for 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow to rest for 20 to 30 minutes longer. Serve topped with your favorite toppings such as cheese and sour cream.
