Give your honey a sweetie pie tonight. I found this recipe a McCall's magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. I plan to use sugar free ice cream, pudding and sugar free chocolate.
Ingredients:
1 cup cold milk
1 cup chocolate ice cream, softened (1/2 pint)
4 serving size jell-o milk chocolate instant pudding (can use sugar free) or 4 jello chocolate instant pudding (can use sugar free)
4 squares baker's semi-sweet chocolate, cut into small chunks
6 ounces keebler ready brand graham cracker pie crust
Directions:
1. Thoroughly blend milk and ice cream in bowl. Add pie filling mix. Beat at lowest speed of electric mixer until blended, 1 minute.
2. Fold in chocolate. Pour immediately into crust. Freeze until firm, 4 hours or overnight.
3. Remove, from freezer 30 minutes before serving and keep chilled in refrigerator. Garnish with whipped topping and shaved chocolate, if desired. Store any leftover pie in freezer.
