Ingredients:
2 pound(s) ground beef ( 93/7 lean) browned
2 whole(s) white onions finely chopped
2 (14.oz) can(s) diced tomatoes w/ juice
2 (15.oz ) can(s) tomato sauce
1/2-1 bottle(s) dos equis beer
2 (15.oz) can(s) kidney beans drained
1/4 cup(s) worchestershire sauce
1/8 -1/3 cup(s) chili powder
4 clove(s) garlic chopped
1-4 jalapeno peppers seeded and chopped
1-3 tablespoon(s) red pepper flakes crushed in hand
1 tablespoon(s) oregano crushed in hand
1/2 -1 tablespoon(s) white granulated sugar
salt to taste optional
Directions:
1. *Brown ground beef over medium heat in skillet till cooked
2. *Drain grease and transfer to soup pot.
3. *Add all ingredients and simmer on low heat for 2 hours w/ lid on the pot. I stir it occasionally so does not burn on bottom.
4. * Remove from heat and allow chili to cool slightly before serving.
5. NOTE: You can make this up to two days in advance and heat up when ready to use. It gets spicier if eaten the day after it is cooked.
