Ingredients:

  • butter to grease pie plate, plus more for rolls
  • 1 1- lb ball of dough

Directions:

  1. Butter a 9-inch pie plate. Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces. Shape into balls. Place 2 balls in the center of the pie plate and the remaining 8 around the outside. Brush each lightly with melted butter as you go so they don't stick to one another. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise 30 to 60 minutes. Preheat oven to 375° F. Remove plastic. Carefully snip the tops of the rolls on a diagonal with sharp scissors. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden.
