Dijon Beef With Brown Rice Spirals

A yummy meal that is a take off on the Country Dijon Beef Stew published in the February 2011 Family Circle.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
1 small onion, chopped
1 lb top round steak, cut into bite sized pieces
1 1/2 tablespoons bob's red mill gluten-free all-purpose baking flour
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon country-style dijon mustard
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon rosemary, crushed
salt & pepper
Directions:
1. Heat 1/2 tablespoon olive oil in a large pot.
2. Add onions and cook for 5 minutes.
3. While onions are cooking, toss beef with flour.
4. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to the pot.
5. Increase heat to medium-high.
6. Add beef and cook until brown on all sides.
7. While beef & onions are cooking, mix broth, Worcestershire, and mustard.
8. Reduce heat to low.
9. Add broth mixture and stir thoroughly.
10. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until beef is cooked through.
11. Add rosemary, salt, and pepper.
12. Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to pot.
13. Cook and stir for 3 minutes or until desired thickness is reached.
14. Serve over brown rice spirals.
