Lovely light breakfast, can be served with powdered sugar or fresh strawberries on top for those who love sweet treats.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup of wheat flour
3 tablespoons of yeast
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 teaspoon sea salt, ground
1 egg, small
1 cup skim milk
1 teaspoon sunflower oil
Directions:
1. Combine all dry ingredients in large measuring cup, add all wet ingredients and gently mix with a spatula until batter only has smaller lumps. Spray with Pam or other low calorie spray or better yet a non stick waffle machine. Cook til golden brown and serve with strong hot coffee and fresh berries.
