Ingredients:
1 pound(s) sweet italian sausage
1/2 pound(s) ground beef
1/2 cup(s) finely chopped onion
2 clove(s) crushed garlic
2 tablespoon(s) sugar
2 teaspoon(s) salt
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon(s) fennel
1/8 cup(s) chopped parsley
4 cup(s) canned crushed tomatoes
2 can(s) 6 0z. tomato paste
1/2 cup(s) water
15 ounce(s) ricotta cheese drained
1 whole(s) eggs
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/8 cup(s) parsley
1 box(es) lasagna i think 12 noodles
3/4 pound(s) mozzarella cheese, grated
3/4 cup(s) parmesan cheese, grated
Directions:
1. Remove sausage from casing, break up, brown with ground beef and drain off a little fat. Add everything else and simmer 2 hours. ( everything from sausage, to 1/2 c. water)
2. Combine ricotta through parsley(second one), and mix well.
3. Cook lasanga according to package directions until just tender. Rinse in cold water and drain on waxed paper.
4. Layer in a 13 X 9 inch pan:
5. Spread 1 1/2 c. sauce on bottom

7. /2 ricotta mixture(1 c.)
8. /3 mozz
9. /2 c. sauce
10. /4 c. parm
11. lasagna noodles
12. /2 ricotta mixture
13. /3 mozz
14. /2 c. sauce
15. /4 c. parm
16. Cover with foil tucked around edge, bake at 375 degrees for 35 min. Remove foil, bake 30-35 minutes. Cool 15 minutes before serving.
