I made this cake a couple of weeks ago for teh family dessert and it was a big deal . You would have thought I had slave over the stove for hours to get it together the way the family went on and on about it. Read more . Somebody out there MUST want to impress someone. Ingredients:
1-pkg betty crocker supermoist devil's food cake mix
1/3-cup water
1/2-cup crisco
3 eggs
2-cups miniature marshmallows
1-tub betty crocker chocolate frosting
Directions:
1. Preheat ovent o 351 degrees. Grease bottom of 13X9-inch baking dish. Beat cake mix, water, Crisco and eggs on low speed for one minute and pour into the prepared dish. Bake for about 35 minutes(or until it passes the toothpick test . Top withw the marshmallows and bake an addition two minutes longer. Cool for 15 minutes. Mcrowave the frosting for 20 seconds on high and pour over cooled cake. Spread evenly. The marshmallows will mix in and make THE best store-bought icing you have EVUH had!
