Denny's Bean Salad

Perfect for BBQ's, picnics, or just a light side dish
Ingredients:
1 cup small pasta or rice, cooked
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed well
1 can cannellini beans, rinsed well
1 can black beans, rinsed well
1 cup frozen corn, thawed
1 cup green peas, thawed
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 orange or yellow pepper, chopped
1/2 red onion, finely chopped
1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes, cut into halves
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup basil, chiffonade
1 tablespoon olive oil
juice and zest of 1 lemon
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Combine the first 9 ingredients in a large bowl
2. Stir in the garlic, olive oil, italian seasoning, lemon juice and zest
3. Gently add in the tomatoes and basil
4. Add salt and pepper to taste
5. Chill until served
