Delightful Brown Rice Salad

A healthy, colorful and delicious salad which may be varied to your liking with additions of dried fruit, chopped nuts, chopped herbs, different spices and sweeteners and oils. Such a nice way to serve rice
Ingredients:
4 cups cooked browned rice
1 tbs chopped red onion
2 tbs chopped celery
1 apple chopped- some red skin on
2 tbs chopped almonds
2 tbs chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp curry powder
1 /4 tsp cinnamon
bit of sweetener to taste ( example: honey, sugar, splenda)
salt and pepper to taste
extra virgin olive oil to taste
Directions:
1. Mix all and serve
2. If chilled, bring to room temp and stir
