Can't get much easier than this. And I like mine best with fresh black cherries...pitted of course. But any fresh fruit in season will do just fine.
Ingredients:
from the kitchen of dl milsap and the sweet people at imperial sugar
1/2 c butter or margarine
1 c milk
1 c self-rising flour
1 c imperial® or dixie crystals® extra fine granulated sugar
4 c sliced and sweetened fruit, such as peaches, apples, berries, etc.
Directions:
1. Melt butter in an 8 x 12 inch baking pan. Mix in milk, flour and sugar.
2. Pile fruit on top, do not stir. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
3. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
