After a great deal of experimentation in my lab (which looks a lot like my kitchen), I developed a cheap, easy to make fake Jet Dry type dishwasher rinse aid that works very well. It's natural and non-chemical, but you still need to keep it out of reach of kiddies due to the alcohol content. Ingredients:
1 cup white vinegar |
1/4 cup alcohol |
1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide (3%) |
2 tablespoons citric acid |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. Fill dishwasher rinse container.
