This is my sister Deana's recipe. It's yummy!!
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 (1/4 ounce) package dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
3 eggs, beaten
5 1/2 cups flour
butter
sugar
1/2 cup cinnamon
raisins (optional)
nuts (optional)
2 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 teaspoons water
Directions:
1. Scald Milk, add next 3 ingredients.
2. In a different bowl, add yeast, water, and eggs. Combine mixtures and add flour. Set in warm place for 3 hours. Take fork and poke hole in dough; cover. Put in fridge over night.
3. Roll dough on floured table. Rub with butter and and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Roll into a log. Use fine thread or plain floss and cut into 1 inch pieces. Put in greased pan with sides. If there are no sides, the rolls will fall over the sides and make a mess in your oven, and it's not fun to clean up. Let stand or rise for 2 hours. Bake at 300 degrees until light brown.
4. Remove from oven and drizzle topping over rolls, while still warm. Yummy, yummy!
