Ingredients:
3 cups sugar
1 cup dates, chopped
1 cup walnuts
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. In a medium sauce pan, mix sugar, dates, butter and milk.
2. Cook for 10 - 15 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and add walnuts, and vanilla.
4. Beat until it thickens.
5. Pour onto a cleaned dish towel (NOT TERRY CLOTH). Make sure the towel is wet but not soaking wet-little over damp. Roll it lengthwise and put into fridge until it has completely cooled.
6. Unroll the wrap and slice.
