Ingredients:
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup cut up dates
1/4 lb butter, she used margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 cups rice krispies
flaked coconut
Directions:
1. Boil first 4 ingredients 3 minutes.
2. Add vanilla and nuts.
3. Remove from stove and add Rice Krispies.
4. Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
