A richer, darker version of the Red Velvet.
Ingredients:
crust
2 1/4 cups chips ahoy cookies crushed
3 tbsp butter, softened
filling
2 pounds philly cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp. flour
4 large eggs
4 tbsp. chocovic-dark cocoa powder
2 tea. vanilla
1 tea. white vinegar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup heavy cream
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450^.
2. Crust:
3. Blend crumbs and butter completely.
4. Butter sides and bottom of 10 spring-pan.
5. Press crumb mixture onto sides and bottom of pan.
6. Set in fridge.
7. Filling:
8. Blend cream cheese, suagr and four until smooth.
9. Add eggs one at a time.
10. Add cocoa powder.
11. Add vanilla, vinegar, buttermilk, and cream, mixing thoroughly.
12. Pour into prepared pan.
13. Bake at 450^ for 16 minutes.
14. Reduce temp. to 250^ and continue baking for 1 hour.
15. Let cool completely and refrigerate before serving.
