Dark Chocolate Sauce

This sauce will keep refrigerated for about 8 days, it is best served warm so just heat slightly in the microwave before serving.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter (cut into small pieces)
2/3 cup brewed black coffee
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup sifted dutch-processed cocoa powder
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
1. In a heavy saucepan heat coffee or water with brown sugar over medium heat, whisking until the sugar dissolves.
2. Add in Dutch cocoa powder with salt, whisking until smooth.
3. Add in butter and vanilla, whisking until the butter has melted.
4. Serve warm or room temperature.
