Darcy's Lasagna

This is my beautiful wife's recipe, it is still the best I have had by far!
Ingredients:
10 -12 lasagna noodles, cooked, fresh or oven ready
1 lb lean ground beef
640 ml tomato sauce
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped fine
2 tablespoons onions, chopped fine
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
pepper, to taste
2 cups cottage cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 egg
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
pepper, to taste
2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
Directions:
1. Brown Ground Beef, then add Green Pepper, Onion, Sugar, Garlic Salt, Oregano and Pepper. Simmer (uncovered) for 20 minutes.
2. In a bowl combine Cottage and Parmesan Cheeses, Egg, Parsley and Pepper, and mix well.
3. To assemble your Lasagna:.
4. 1. Layer of Noodles.
5. 2. Half of Meat Sauce.
6. 3. Cheese mixture.
7. 4. Layer of Noodles.
8. 5. Remaining Meat Sauce.
9. 6. Mozzarella Cheese.
10. Bake uncovered at 350 F for 45 - 55 minutes or until golden brown. Let sit for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve with Mom's Garlic Bread and Mom's Caesar Salad for an incredible dinner.
