Nutritious bread for the bread machine
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups water
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 2/3 cups bread flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons powdered milk
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
3/4 cup raisins
1 cup walnuts
1 tablespoon cinnamon or 1 teaspoon allspice or 1 teaspoon cardamom
Directions:
1. add items in the order required by your bread machine. set to wheat cycle. For a change, sub dried cherries or cranberries for the raisins or sub pecans or peanuts for the walnuts.
