This is from a food preservation Yahoo group that I am on. This bread is traditionally baked in a crescent and is glazed with honey and orange juice mixed together and warmed. Ingredients:
3/4 cup milk |
5 tablespoons butter |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons orange peel |
1/4 teaspoon ground mace |
3 1/2 cups bread flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast |
Directions:
1. Add ingredients into bread pan according to recommendations of
2. manufacturer.
3. Set to sweet, white; no timer, light crust.
