Cute dimple cookie filled with jelly. Ingredients:
3/4 pound butter |
1 cup sugar |
2 egg yolks |
pinch salt |
4 cups sifted flour |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
red currant jelly |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks and salt
2. Beat until fluffy then add sifted flour and vanilla
3. Shape into tiny balls
4. Place on cookie sheet and put a dimple in each ball by pressing a floured thumb in center of ball
5. Fill each with currant jelly
6. Bake at 300 degrees until brown
